The Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has published the preliminary results of the Census of Population, Family Economy and Housing (ReKos 2024).
The executive director of KAS, Avni Kastrati, in the conference held today, stated that the registration was six weeks, but that it was postponed for another week, adding that the registration process was done digitally, Telegrafi reports.
Kastrati also announced that the registration of the diaspora is continuing, until he called for registration.
"Preliminary data are published a few months after the population census, we are very fast with these data. We will announce the final results at the end of the year. The number of registered population in Kosovo, which does not include the diaspora, is 1,586,659 residents," he said.
