The novel "Squadrons of Death" by Bardhyl Mahmut presents Serbia's genocide against Albanians - it is rated as the best work by the LSHK

The novel "Eskadronët e vdekjes" by the author Bardhyl Mahmuti has been evaluated as the best work by the League of Writers of Kosovo, which reflects the Serbian genocide against the Albanians. The President of the League of Writers of Kosovo, Shyqri Galica, said that the work "Eskadronët e vdekjes" by the author Bardhyl Mahmuti is a special work both as a literary and artistic creation and as history. "...It is really special... 

Regardless of the help, which the author claims to have had from many, his own tendency in terms of literary, performative, historical stylistics is a fact that shows not only the dedication of the writer, but the talent to articulate with a rich language, with a sharp thought and a sophisticated request for the enlightenment of Serbian barbarism... ...The writer Bardhyl Mahmuti is the author who has penetrated into the epochal depths of the pharaonic spirit of the Serbian conqueror, giving the most worthy and best novel almost to date on the subject of genocide", said Galica. For the work "Squadrons of Death", the president of the League of Writers of Kosovo presented gratitude to the writer Bardhyl Mahmuti. Author Mahmuti emphasized that this recognition honors not only him, but all others who have committed to shedding light on a crime, as he calls it, so monstrous that, according to him, there is a risk of remaining silent. Mahmuti said that on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the genocide "we cannot be satisfied with what we have done so far". Further, he emphasized that the recognition by the Writers' Union of Kosovo gives a powerful impetus to the distribution of the novel, while adding that this will influence others to see the truth. "...The book 'Eskadronët e Vdekjes', no matter how modest it may seem, has been contributed by others, but thanks to the confessions given to me by either Bajrushi, Sadiku, or Vllaznimi, because the main characters in the novel are real characters. It is precisely those characters who have given him a push and today they are calling me from Italy about who Sadiku is... The acknowledgment from the Writers' Association gives a powerful push to the distribution of the novel not because of Bardhyl Mahmut, but because by reading either in Italian, English or in all other languages ​​they will have the opportunity to see a truth from our point of view. ", said Mahmuti. The book "Death Squads" authored by Bardhyl Mahmuti, was published by the "Genocide in Kosovo-open wound" Center. 

 The author Bardhyl Mahmuti's novel is based on true events and was published on the occasion of Genocide Day in Kosovo, January 15, 2021. This work has had several editions in Albanian, and has been translated and is being translated into several foreign languages.
