At the end of the post, the singer closed the message with a direct and provocative call: “Sorry, coward.”
Her story quickly spread and became a topic of discussion on the X platform (formerly Twitter). Five days later, on November 17, Elon Musk decided to react. In a post summarizing Eilish's stories, he wrote briefly: "She's not the smartest."

The clash comes just weeks after Billie Eilish spoke publicly about economic inequality and the need for billionaires to contribute more. During her speech at the Wall Street Journal Innovators Awards, she emphasized that the world is going through a dark period and people need empathy and concrete action more. "If you have money, use it for good causes. And if you're a billionaire ... why are you a billionaire? No hate, but yes, give of your money," the singer declared.
The two's replies have sparked numerous discussions about the ethics of wealth, the role of public figures and the limits of criticism on social networks.
