Photo | Klankosova.tv The Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, has said that the United States strongly condemns the explosion that occurred in the water channel in Ibër Lepenc. In a reaction on the X platform, he said that they are closely monitoring the situation and that they support a full investigation and have offered support to the Government of Kosovo. "The United States of America strongly condemns the November 29 attack on critical infrastructure in Kosovo by damaging a water channel in Zubin Potok that is essential for Kosovo's water supply and the operation of Kosovo's power plants," Hovenier said. "We are monitoring the situation closely, will support a comprehensive investigation and have offered our full support to the Government of Kosovo to ensure that the persons responsible for this criminal attack are identified and held accountable." Among other things, he also condemned the grenade attacks that took place at the police station of Zveçan on November 26 and at the building of the Municipality of Zveçan on November 28. "These violent actions have no place in a democratic society and those responsible for these criminal attacks against the legitimate authorities of the Republic of Kosovo must be held accountable. The United States will continue to express solidarity with the people and Government of Kosovo in the face of such criminal attacks," said Hovenier.
