Cowering on the floor with her hand clutching her husband's jacket, this is the moment one British mother and her family feared for their lives as bombs tore through Brussels airport.
Pauline Graystone, who has lived in Belgium for 20 years, was at the American Airlines check-in desk with her husband and daughter when the first explosion shook the departures hall.
The family dropped to the floor and huddled together near the counter, just feet away from where the second bomb detonated moments later. Fourteen people were killed in the airport strikes.

Just 79 minutes later, 20 people lost their lives when a third bomb was detonated in a packed Metro carriage in an underground station just metres away from the EU headquarters.

Mrs Graystone described scenes of 'total confusion' as it became apparent what had happened.

Speaking today to Radio 4's World At One, she said: 'There was a huge bang just behind us and I said "what's that?" to my husband and he knew instantly it was a bomb so we just dropped.

'We crouched down with my daughter. We were just huddled there and then suddenly there was another, even bigger, louder bang that seemed even closer which was right in front of us, behind the check-in.
'Then we really knew that this was serious. We could smell burning and lots of the ceiling was falling down. It was just total confusion.'

Mrs Grayston said they just 'stayed put and didn't move', fearing there would be a third bomb.
She continued: 'It felt like ages. I guess you can see it on my face in the picture.

'It was just a case of keeping it together and keeping my daughter safe because she was really terrified and she was crying a lot.

'It felt like five minutes we waited there before we stood up and ran. Virtually everyone had disappeared. We seemed to be the only ones left in that part of the terminal. That was quite a shock.'
Today it emerged there could have been another suitcase bomb set off in the airport but the ISIS fanatics couldn't fit all their explosive-packed bags into a taxi outside their safehouse.
They refused to let the driver touch the bags - prompting him to later contact the police about their suspicious behaviour.
All of the men named as bombers today were 'well known' to detectives because of their links to ISIS and all had significant criminal records.
Police have also confirmed today that those who carried it out are part of a larger cell who carried out the Paris attacks four months ago.

Mother-of-two Adelma Tapia Ruiz, 36, was the first named victim of the Brussels terror attacks so far. The Peruvian national had lived in Belgium for nine years, was on her the way to visit relatives in New York with her twin daughters when she died in the double suicide bombing at Zaventem Airport.
Ms Tapia's three-year-old twins Maureen and Alondra, and her Belgian husband Christopher Delcambe, survived the explosion on Tuesday morning.
Brussels-born law student Leopold Hecht, 20, was seriously wounded in the explosion in at Maelbeek Metro Station, and later succumbed to his injuries.
The third victim whose identity has been released was also killed in the metro bomb. Olivier Delespesse was reportedly on his way to work at a government organisation for Belgian French-speakers, when he died in the second bombing.
The girlfriend of a British father missing after the Brussels attacks is among desperate relatives searching the city's hospitals in the hope of finding their loved ones.

A British man who was among those injured in the Brussels atrocities has described how he stepped off a crowded underground train moments before a carriage was blown apart by a terror bomb.
Mark Beamish, 35, from Birmingham, told his father he was in Maelbeek station when ISIS jihadists targeted the train in a strike that killed at least 20 and wounded more than 100.
The European Parliament worker suffered minor burns in the attack and is one of four Britons being treated in hospitals in the city in the wake of the attacks.
A fifth Briton, IT programmer David Dixon, from Hartlepool, is still missing. He told his family he was safe after the blasts in Brussels airport, but has not been heard from since the underground attack.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, Mr Beamish's father, David said his son does not remember anything about the horrific scenes in the underground station.
'When I talked to him last he was in hospital with his wife and was suffering from superficial injuries like singed eyebrows and hair, but also has burns on his hands, vertigo and dizziness,' he said.
He added he was 'quite calm' knowing his son was safe and in the care of medical professionals.
Investigators last night said the death toll from the underground bombing could increase further because the violence of the explosion meant some of the victims were blown to pieces and cannot be identified.
Part of the underground line where the blast went off yesterday remained closed, but most trains, trams and buses ran to schedule - even if some commuters seemed reluctant to use public transport.
